We have compiled a draft Master Checklist of the various types of historical records repositories for you to use in planning your research. This checklist, or DoJR Custodial Entity Taxonomy, is currently being used to guide our DoJR survey work, region by region.

Tips for Using the Master Checklist
- SEARCH: Use the search box at the top right of the Checklist to enter any keyword(s). The match will find records where all the keywords are found, in any column including the Descriptions.
- FILTER: The full Checklist can be filtered using the 2 dropdown boxes above the Checklist. Filter selections will show only the selected Category(ies) and or Sub-Category(ies). More than one filtering selection can be made under Category or Sub-Category by opening the dropdown to select each choice. To delete a selection, click on the term under the dropdown.
- SORT: In the blue heading row, use the up and down arrows in each column to sort the records by that column in ascending or descending order.
