Stanley Mark Diamond, M.S.M Z”L
Our friend, colleague, and fellow co-founder, Stanley Mark Diamond, M.S.M. Z”L, passed peacefully yesterday at 91 years old but young in spirit.
Stanley is beloved by the multitudes seeking their roots that he inspired, encouraged, and helped.
After a successful career as an entrepreneur in international business, for more than three decades, Stanley has been a constant force in the Jewish genealogy community leaving lasting impact and imprint.
Most recognized for his founding and leadership of JRI-Poland, Stanley also founded the Jewish Genealogical Society of Montreal and served as a founding committee member of the International Institute of Jewish Genealogy.
In recent years, with passion and a most expansive vision, Stanley co-founded our L’Dor V’Dor Foundation and Documentation of Jewish Records Worldwide project – and most recently L’Dor V’Dor Foundation Canada.
We share in the outpouring of grief, with condolences to his much cherished family.
